A high school athletics teen is said to have inspired students to stab at a competition… accused of murder

The 17-year-old was charged with murder of one person who allegedly stabbed another 17-year-old during an argument at a high school track competition in Texas on Wednesday.
Frisco police said the incident took place at Kuikendall Stadium in the Frisco Independent School District around 10am.
According to police, Carmelo Anthony of Frisco Centennial High School killed Austin Metcalf of Frisco Memorial High School after a conflict at the event.
Details surrounding the alleged argument were not available immediately… but authorities have given Metcalfe the state lifesaving measures following the stab wound.
Anthony is currently being held on first-degree felony charges.
“The Frisco Police Department is committed to the deepest sadness of the family, students and staff of the victims who are grieving for all those affected by this devastating loss and experiencing unthinkable pain,” Frisco PD said in a statement. “The department is working with the Frisco Independent School District and will continue to provide the support we need during this incredibly challenging time.”
Metcalf described himself as a 6-foot, 220-pound footballer with a 3.97 GPA on the X Page. His final post on the social media app said, “My faith that God has got me and my work will be rewarded.”
Meanwhile, Anthony described himself as a 3.7 GPA 5-foot-10, 175-pound footballer.
