Tesla appeared on Capitol Hill Wednesday, with the company listed as one of several major American manufacturers at a bipartisan event on US-made robotics.
Two Tesla humanoid robots took part in the event, causing the machines to get crowded as onlookers hit various poses.
They waved their arms from time to time, raising their hands with two fingers each in Richard Nixon-like poses. At one point, the robot’s arms shook, slamming the ropes that split from the crowd, and temporarily sent security guards scrambling to fix it.
But outside of Washington, Tesla car dealers are being targeted by progressive activists across the country. Automakers and tech companies are chosen for vandalism over founder Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) efforts in the Trump administration.

R-Mich. The House Selection Committee on China Speaker John Mourenard suggested that Tesla’s appearance at a bipartisan event showed Congress was rising to the partisan side.
“The competition is with China and we are united in that competition,” Moolenaar told Fox News Digital at the event.
He called Tersa “innovative,” adding that “every company here has shown incredible ingenuity and was pleased to emphasize all their efforts.”
The event featured bots from other events, including the so-called “robot dogs,” officially known as “spot the agile mobile robots” by Boston Dynamics, as well as similar machines by Ghost Robotics.

Mourenar said the spot stands out especially to him, and the two Tesla robotic humanoids that were present in the event stand out.
“It’s an incredible technology, and it was a lot of the same technology that hit me that is in the vehicles used in these humanoid robots,” he said.
Rep. Carlos Guimenez of R-Fla, another member of the committee, said Tesla robots can have “incredible applications.”

He also accused Democrats of criticizing Tesla’s critics who are destroying car dealers outside of the event that “burned” Musk’s “hair.”
“Some people had things to the extreme,” Gimenez said.
“We are moving forward with American technology and we don’t need to put anything that will benefit America.”
The Trump administration has recently moved to crack down on prison protesters, as President Donald Trump himself is threatening prison protesters. Meanwhile, the FBI asked the task force to investigate the issue.
