A brawl broke out during a Jackson State and Prairie View A&M baseball game in Texas over the weekend.
Senior Trenton Bush all went down Saturday after hitting a walk-off RBI for the Panthers – a Tigers player sprinted to the huddle from the left field as the winner celebrated on a second base.
When the coach tried to break up the athlete, the Panthers player fell to the ground near 2 base… but he was eventually saved by his feet.
The two teams finally managed to separate… but the tension didn’t stop there. One Jackson State player launched the bat bush that he used to hit the game-winning RBI into the sky. Another player tried to square the Panthers, but fortunately the coach stepped in to stop the escalation even further.
TMZ Sports is said to have taken the Swift Action by the Southwestern Athletic Conference…and a total of nine players have stopped four games. Six games from JSU, 3 games from PV A&M.
Each school was also fined $20,000.
Despite the bad blood between the sides, they returned to the field on Sunday to close the series. The Panthers won the series with a final score of 9-5.
Neither side plans to head back to this calendar year.
