Mario Edgardo Garcia Aquino, the youth soccer coach who murdered a California teenager, is so dangerous to a young man that he needs to be taken off the streets – that’s what the victim’s lawyers say.
Luis Carrillo was in LA court for Mario’s arrest on Wednesday. There, Lewis Straight said he deserves life at least behind the bar… and he thinks the DA might push the death penalty forward, but if that’s the case, the decision will ultimately be up to the ju judge.
Lewis won’t be blocked, so catch the clip. He calls Mario a cold-blooded murderer, breaking it, saying that he wasn’t in the job he was around the young boy in the first place.
In conclusion, Lewis says that justice will be provided no matter what happens.
Earlier this month, the Los Angeles County DA office alleges that Garcia Aquino killed 13-year-old Oscar Omar Hernandez and committed “indecent and sleepy behavior.”
Garcia Aquino was originally arrested in connection with an unrelated sexual assault, and prosecutors eventually gathered enough evidence to accuse him of Oscar’s murder.
He waived his right to a swift trial during his arrest Wednesday. Garcia Aquino was detained without bail… he did not enter the plea. Mario’s next court date is set to June 18th.
