Freezing warnings for all viewing areas in Georgia and Alabama tonight (all areas have a risk of below freezing temperatures)
After the freezing start on Friday, we can expect late 50’s sunshine and mild afternoon temperatures before falling below the 60’s. Some clouds move late at night and Friday nights, but are mostly dry.
Warm this weekend
Weekends are mid-60s/Upper 60s, highs and warm on dry Saturdays, lowering the 70s on Sundays, clouds increase and showers a few times in the late afternoon.
Serious possibilities of Sunday night
The next weather maker will move from Monday’s compassionate time on Sunday evening, with showers and storms in front of the cold front. As outlined by the Storm Prediction Center, there is a “slight risk” of a severe storm on Sunday night. As always, we’ll be keeping you updated on this in the next few days.
