Here in Coachella Valley, another beautiful day with minimal winds and temperatures just below average. Tracking high pressure buildings in Southern California. This is launching one of the first major warming trends of the year. Thanks to the high pressure, the sky remains primarily clear for several days.

Today’s wind is not a concern for us. But we’ve seen a shift towards the offshore pattern of wind. You can see this. I saw the arrow heading west (offshore). Thankfully, the wind isn’t very strong, especially for us on the valley floor here. The wind pattern will overturn the flop between land and offshore over the next few days.

Anyway, astronomically speaking, spring will officially begin tomorrow. To welcome the new season, the Highs rose in the ’80s and continue to rise until next week.

Next week, the highs will be in the range of 10-15 degrees above the average. The sky remains clear for a foreseeable future. If you’re looking for something about this weekend, check out Thermal’s IndyCar Grand Prix.
