– Manchester United are chasing Lyon to sign Lyon attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki, despite interest from Liverpool, reports Mirror. The 21-year-old’s move was worth £20 million and the French were seen up close as he scored a later equalizer in the first round of the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals.
– Chelsea are willing to offer £50 million plus a player to re-sign Crystal Palace centreback Mark Gehi, Miller reports. The Eagles want £70 million for their captain and will be willing to accept defender Trevo Charova as part of their contract. Liverpool and Newcastle United are also reported to have resigned after losing Gehi, who is interested.
