Enzo Fernandez (Chelsea) and Youri Tielemans (Aston Villa): These two are on a similar trajectory. Really impressive performance: box-to-box, combative, they did everything they needed to. Thierremans is great for the Villa, and now the Villa is trying to fit perfectly and fit around him. Before chopping and change – was it Amadoonana, or was it John McGinn? Now it’s Thierremann and anyone. Fernandez is the same. He won the World Cup with a price tag of £100 million. Everyone was a little worried, but he chipped at the goal and after the performance.
Kevin Schade (Brentford): Two goals for Man UTD get you a lot of credibility, but everyone talks a lot about Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo – obviously because these guys are very good and very talented – but he’s missing. He lost a long time to his injuries, but since he returned to the crease he deserves a bit of credit.
Julio Enciso (Ipswich): He showed real class and real quality, even if Ipswich died and buried in the league. I was in the dressing room and told them that such people were injured and I returned to the parent club after work, but he did the opposite. He took the game to Everton and showed that he was the best player on the pitch and that he is Premier League quality. Very, very good goal. Incredible goals, in fact, potential season goals.
Cole Palmer (Chelsea): Not his best game, everything he did had real quality and class. He’s not there for his goal. I think it’s his move, the way he’s gliding past people and looks like him, it was all so much fun. It was nice to see him smiling again.
