Police fear that the body of a burnt-out car south of Sydney is the body of a Bankstown woman who was allegedly accused of being accused of being accused of being a “unprecedented” violence, which is what is called a “terrifying” crime.
Emergency Services attended a residential area in Beverly Hills at about 11:30pm on Thursday night, following a report of a car fire.
Firefighters put out the flames, but when police examined the destroyed vehicle they found their bodies.
The bodies were not formally identified, but police said in a statement Friday morning that they suspected they belong to a 45-year-old Bankstown woman who was said to have been lured out hours before their discovery.
Police attended a Bankstown home on Thursday night, at about 10:30pm, following reports of a woman being lured and the boy being assaulted.
Upon arriving at his home, Bankstown police were told that a group of unknown people had surged the 45-year-old woman before tempted her.
The accused temptation carried a firearm, but during the invasion he attacked the woman’s 8-year-old son with a baseball bat. They then forced the woman into an SUV, police said.
The boy was treated for a serious head injury by attending paramedics from an NSW ambulance before being taken to the hospital for further treatment.
He had surgery this morning for a serious head wound and was in a coma induced in intensive care, police said, describing them as a serious but stable condition.
The other 15-year-old son of a woman who was present at the time was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Sapt Rodney Hart, commander of Bankstown Police Area Command, said it was a “terrifying” crime.
“The level of violence is unprecedented, but I want to reassure the community that this is a targeted incident and that we strongly believe this is not a random invitation.”
He said the welfare and safety of the two boys was “first priority” and that detectives were with them in the hospital.
He said police had contacted her father’s husband, who was her father. The victim’s husband understood that it was an interstate at the time of the incident.
Hart said Friday morning the man was “on his way back to Sydney now to support his two children and to assist with police inquiries.”
Crime scenes were established at both Bankstown and Beverly Hills locations, and officers of the Bankstown Police Area Command began investigating Strike Force Bushfield with the support of Campey Police and the State Murder Corps.
