Val Kilmer’s ex-wife Joanne Holy and daughter Mercedes Kilmer were first discovered since his death and shared a heartfelt embrace in an emotional moment.

Mercedes filled her hands with her bag and when she and her mom shared the moment she seemed to be in the middle of moving things into her car.
As you know, Mercedes confirmed yesterday that his father had passed away in the New York Times and shared that he died after his battle with pneumonia.

Kilmer had health problems for many years – he was hospitalized with throat cancer in 2015, eventually in remission, but the illness permanently damaged his voice.
TMZ also found out that his health was heading in a serious direction in his last few years, leaving him bedridden for years before his death.
His health had been declining for a while, so his death was said to have not been a surprise.
