Weezer bassist Scott Schliner hasn’t provided much in detail about the incident involving his wife being shot by police this week… except that she says “It’s okay” in good spirits.
Our photos caught up with Scott as he walked his four dogs in a LA neighborhood on Thursday, two days after his wife, Gillian Lauren Schliner, was injured in a police shooting and was later booked for an attempted murder – he allegedly pointed his gun at a police officer and pulled the trigger.

When asked how Gillian was doing, Scott said… “She’s fine. Thank you for asking.” Is he upset at the way the police handled the situation? “I can’t comment on that.”
He was clearly not in the mood to deal with the many questions swirling about Tuesday’s incident. TMZ reported that the suspect led officers into the backyard of the Eagle Rock area around 3:30pm… Hit and Run suspects were stripped by his little Keevee and tried to hide in the pool of his neighbor’s house.
Police say officers at the scene requested that she drop her weapon multiple times. Officers shot her in the shoulder, and she was hospitalized with a life-threatening injury, later booked for attempted murder and bonded on $1 million bail.

TMZ has obtained police scanner audio for the incident. You can hear the confusion as CHP and LAPD officials coordinated the search for male suspects in the neighborhood. He was caught and arrested… The other two suspects remain large.

When asked if there was anything Scott could tell us about the incident, he shut it down… “No, not at all, I can’t speak to you guys.” He said he “of course” spoke to her… but he didn’t provide any further details.
Then he had a lasting thought when he walked the driveway and opened the gates – “See you at Coachella!” As we reported earlier today, Scott and his bandmates will play at Coachella this weekend, but it appears suspicious that Gillian will be taking part.
