Smith and Tatiana Ali also reunited to create a re-enjoying scene from the Fresh Prince pilot who created the “anxiety” dance trend
Thank you to Tiktok for this reunion and crossover! On Friday, Will Smith shared a video recreating the iconic fresh Prince’s Bel Air scene with co-star Tatiana Ali, in line with Dokiy’s “anxiety” tone that also appears in the video.
The clip rethinks a scene from the 1990 pilot episode of Fresh Prince, where he watches the actor dance after Smith copying Ali’s dance moves. Dokii then enters a frame and joins a dance party. “I’ve been waiting 35 years for this dance to become trending,” Smith joked in the caption.
Gotye’s “anxiety” dance trend, which samples “people I knew,” started trending a few weeks ago. Smith reposted the original clips, ranging from Fresh Prince to songs from Dokiy’s song. “I’ve seen y’all and all the videos are better than the end!! I love that track @doecchii. @tatyana ali Remember this?” he wrote earlier this month.
Dokii and Smith shared the dance after posting a clip mimicking each other’s movements, captioning, “Someone is watching me, that’s my anxiety.”
Doechii officially released “Anxiety” last week after sharing it on YouTube in 2019 as part of her Coven Music Sessions. Rapper Sleepy Hallow sampled Doechii’s “Anxiety” in his song in 2023. She said before.
Trend Stories
Shortly after the stupid clip between Dokii and Ali, Smith shared the album cover of his upcoming album, based on the true story of March 28th. The 14-song album of the track he called “episodes” includes songs such as “Hard Times (Smile)” with Teyana Taylor, “Artwork” by Jaden, and “Beautiful Scars” by Obanga.
Smith began teasing music earlier this year with Big Shawn and Valentine’s Day’s “First Love.”
