March Madness has got off to an exciting start. South Carolina, UCLA, Duke and Notre Dame all bent their advantage with blown victory, with Kentucky surviving the upset against Liberty, and Oregon becoming the first double-digit species to advance with overtime wins over freshmen Phenom Mikayla Blakes and Vanderbilt.
The No. 1 seeds are UCLA, South Carolina, Texas and USC, with the Bruins leading the overall seed. Since the tournament expanded in 1994, the No. 1 seed has won the title 23 times. On the other hand, no. The second seed has won four championships and three seeds. The latest seed was LSU in 2023, and this year it is the third seed again.
