President Emerson Mnangagwa is under pressure from the protests planned on March 31 amid a new challenge to his rule.
Zanu-PF is heading for internal destruction where dissatisfied war veterans are leading Mnangagwa’s resignation.
Members of the Axed Zanu-PF Central Committee congratulated Geza, who is reportedly putting up a bid by the country’s leader to be handed over to Mnangagwa’s representative, Constantino Chiwenga.
Speaking to the Politburo on Wednesday, Mnangagwa begged Zimbabweans not to pay attention to the call to protest.
“I praise all my fellow citizens across the country for their clarity, national consciousness and patriotism, who continue to crush our efforts with the dissatisfaction and injustice elements of delusion that are bent at thwarting our peace, unity and harmony.
“Our homeland, Zimbabwe, will become a constitutional democratic and sovereign nation where we all live in unity, peace and harmony. Vanoukla, Vanolambhavacilla, Nikaichyendambeli. Remusangano, Nguva dzose, Mangwanani, Masikati Nemanheru,” said Mnangagwa.
ZANU-PF is reportedly divided into President Mnangagwa’s bid to maintain power beyond the two constitutional terms and factions that support Chiuengga, who support another faction.
In hiding last week, Geza has recognized Chuwenga’s leader as “commander” and revealed a candidate of the favourite war veterans to replace Mnangagwa, whose plot to make him successful.

President Mnangagwa further argued that the Zanu-PF remains strong and urged party leaders to remain vigilant.
“Our Party constitution is sacred, like roots and tree trunks, and we, our members, are their branches. Like any other revolution, those who do not connect the right lines of revolution must fall on the side of the road.
“Zanu PF must be the first responder to the challenges facing our people and our communities. I challenge all party members to walk with our people and to always meet their needs.
“In seamless coordination, our party structure must provide honest leadership and guidance, from the cellular level, to the district, to the central committee and the Politburo, and refocusing on issues affecting our people’s livelihoods,” he said.
