Zimbabwe remains calm today despite calling for protests, and police are assuring citizens that the country is free of concern.
In a statement on X, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) said officers are patrolling to maintain order, urging the public to not be afraid to do their daily activities.
“The ZRP ensures the nation’s situation is peaceful. As police officers patrol, the people should be careful to be free to embark on their daily activities,” the statement said.
Beem has no reports of any turmoil nationwide.
Authorities have warned against unauthorized demonstrations, citing the need to maintain public order.
